Newgy 1040 Ping Pong Robot Review
Great question and we're about to dive in deep and pull the Robo-Pong 1040 Robot machine apart, giving you a smashing assessment of the difference between Robo-Pong 1040 and Robo-Pong 540.
This is essential to understand because when purchasing Robo-Pong 1040.
This table tennis robot comes with a higher price tag and a little more functionality than the Robo Pong 540.
The Robo Pong 540 is really just helping you to build basic skills within table tennis and the funtionality of the robo-pong 540 only allows you to control the speed and frequency of the balls being thrown.
The Low-Down
The Robo-Pong 1040 machine itself is no taller than a meter high with a long thick neck which throws out the table tennis balls.
I love this machine because it's small, compact and easy to move around and store away after the game. The Robo-Pong 1040 sits nicely on top of the table tennis table and comes with a larger basket than the Robo-Pong 540. This gives you a longer playing time before picking up the balls and re-filling the basket to start practising your shots again.
The Newgy Robo-Pong 1040 is aimed at players who are getting slightly more advanced with the basics of table tennis and what to challenge themselves by improving their skills with more variety and have the ability to play anytime they want!
The Robot Pong 1040 will help you with a variety of shots coming at you, keeping your mind ship and build up your reaction skills. This is essential if you're starting to build up confidence with the basic's like forehand and backhand stokes.
essential if you're starting to build up confidence!
So take your time in making sure that you get proper practise and don't get in to bad habits with your shots. These Robo-Pong machines are seriously good at helping you get the basics right.
One of the ways it does this is that the Robot-Pong 1040 can place the ball perfectly every time for you, giving you the ability to repetitively improve your stokes, skills and all round game!
The main difference between the newgy Robo-Pong 540 and the newgy Robo-Pong 1040 is that it comes with a 200 Ball basket holder and oscillation!! So why are these features an improvement? and how will you benefit from them?
With a larger basket holder, you will get more balls to throw at you when you're practising and get more playing time.
With a smaller basket less balls will be thrown at you and you'll need to pickup the balls and put them back in the basket to start over again.
This is why people purchase a catch Net, so the balls don't fly all over your room and you don't need to go round picking them up after the basket is empty.
1040 Robot Ball Oscillation
Oscillation, is an added feature proving your movement control over where you want the ball to go and helping you gain better reaction times on your feet.
As you can program the Oscillation to go anywhere on the table. With the added spin feature it will keep you on your toes and improve your game in a real life match!
The oscillation will ultimately improve your reaction times, eye co-ordination and movement around the table.
After all once you get to grips with basic strokes, this next level is all about improving your skills as if you're playing against a real player.
You never really can predict when and where the ball is going to come at you. So the added feature of Oscillation is a must have with the newgy Robo-Pong 1040.
