The Joola Tour 1500 is the lightest of the Tour family tables and that is one reason that we recommend it over the others for use at home. It is functionaly the same as the other models but a lot easier to move around the home when folding and storing!

With that in mind, Joola have produced the “TeamUSA” approved ' Tour 1500 indoor table tennis table. This table tennis table has been crafted with the recreational home player in mind who wants to have something a little better than a basic table tennis table.
It comes with a blue 15mm table top which provides an really good bounce and produced from top quality materials to last for a very long time to come.
The Joola Tour 1500 Table is really well priced for the quality and is spot on for families don't want to spend to much and are working on a budget.
The table is supported by a solid undercarriage of powder coated metal which when folded away, fold automatically when you have finished with your game.
What i'm really impressed with is the quality of the wheels, it might not seem much but when you're having to fold the table away after every game the smoothness of the wheels really helps as you do not need much effort to push the table into it's storage space.
The table top comes with white lines that mark out the game dividing lines which means you can play doubles with your family and no-one is left out of the fun.
This is interesting to me, as because it's an indoor table tennis table, it's not all that heavy and you can still have a great game not worrying if the table will shake as some of the other lighter tables on the market, as it comes with such a sold metal under-frame.
It's really simple to set up and you can fold each half up to put it away in storage.
Can you play on your own?
One thing I did notice was that you can actually fold one half down and have a game of table tennis with yourself! It's great fun when you want to a quick knock up and practise some of those shots when you want to get a competive advantage over your family!
I know when I was a kid, I used to spend every waking hour in the summer house at the end of the garden playing, practising my serves on my one. Trying out different types of serves and seeing what spins I can use to fool my opponent.

However, as I mentioned at the top of this review, this model the Tour 1500 is the best bang for your buck and a lot lighter in weight than the other heavier tables. It is a lot easier to move around and store away due to the lighter weight and the 15mm top will provide you with enough bounce to play and practise your game at home without ever needing to upgrade the table.
